Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC has committed to continuously provide and update taxpayers about income tax relief information and support efforts that is made or becomes available to the Southern California wild fire victims.
There is always lots of confusion and frustration when natural disasters occur, such as the 2007 California wild fires, so Exeter is developing a web page entitled "Income Tax Relief Help for Victims of the Southern California Wild Fires" to provide taxpayers with information and links regarding income tax relief and support efforts as it is made available or announced by the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), Office of Emergency Services (OES) or any other city, state or Federal government agency, said William L. Exeter, president and chief executive officer, Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC.
Mr. Exeter further stated, "the difficult challenge for taxpayers is to wade through the complex issues and government red tape involved with a natural disaster, also referred to as an involuntary conversion, and then review and narrow down the numerous options available, and then make an educated decision on the best coarse of action to be taken while under heavy emotional stress."
We hope to create a web page that will assist taxpayers with this process, and we are also available to answer any questions taxpayers may have.
